The Fiery Foothills of Kluane National Park

Experience a quintessential Yukon landscape of windswept rolling hills carved by wildlife, snow and ice.

An exhilarating helicopter ride, fiery red and orange alpine tundra, caribou, bison, Dall sheep, wolves… Welcome to the Ruby Ranges, and the Traditional Territory of the Champagne and Aishihik First Nations.

After being dropped off high up in the mountains, we’ll explore an incredible landscape carved by wildlife, snow and ice. The rolling hills provides innumerable hiking opportunities and sweeping vistas with excellent opportunities to see wildlife as well as the towering mountains of Kluane National Park

Our route will also take us to a historic USAF C-47 crash site, where we’ll have a chance to explore a bit of aviation history and learn about the incredible story of the survivors (spoiler alert, everyone lived!).
